I began painting landscapes as a way of capturing and sharing the emotional impact that outdoor spaces have had upon me. My work has thus been inspired by the many places I have visited, both in Canada and beyond. My hope is that through these paintings, viewers will be transported with me, visually and emotionally, to some of the scenes and scenery I have been so fortunate to experience.

Mattie is a landscape oil painter based in Toronto, Ontario.
Mattie has a B.A. in History from Queen's University in Kingston. She has worked with children and young adults teaching art and leading wilderness canoe trips. She enjoys travel and the outdoors, where she has found many of the places that inspire her painting.
Purchases
To purchase a painting, please select the painting you wish to purchase and click on the "Buy" button and follow the prompts. Please remember to provide a shipping address.
Free delivery is provided in the GTA. For purchases within the GTA, purchasers will be contacted directly to arrange delivery details. For purchases outside the GTA, paintings will be shipped through Canada Post to the shipping address provided and purchasers will be notified once the painting has been shipped.
